In Our Opinion…
This more stable and easy to manoeuvre heating unit is specifically designed for those who want a bit of a better product than the usually cheaper looking versions. They have designed it to look more like a traditional style radiator, too, which is a nice touch. The materials used seem to be of slightly higher quality and with the black finish make this heating appliance a rather good purchase.
With the option of using either the 800w or 1600w heat setting you can use the heater to control the temperature of the room reasonably well and if that doesn’t work exactly as you would like you can always wheel it closer or further away in order to get the desired heat level.
The cable provided could do with being a little longer as it’s only around 1.5m in length, but hopefully that should be sufficient for most people, especially as it’s designed for smaller rooms so you want to be in relatively close proximity to it to get the full benefit from it.
Some people have commented that the elements are not actually halogen, but are made of ceramic material. We are not 100% sure of this, but we do know that it heats up quickly and efficiently so don’t see it as too much of a problem. We just thought you would like to know…
